A map giving basic directions to Spelga Pass Hillclimb is available to view by clicking on the thumbnail photo to the right...
Spelga Pass is located approximately 3 miles outside Hilltown on the B27 Kilkeel Road. We would advise anyone approaching Rathfriland from the A1 carriageway to turn off at either the third exit (south bound) at Banbridge SP Rathfriland B10 or leave the A1 further on at Loughbrickland SP Rathfriland B3. Follow either road until you enter Rathfriland and follow signs for Castlewellan/Hilltown. Just as you leave Rathfriland, turn
right SP Hilltown B25. Once in the centre of Hilltown, turn left SP Newcastle and after leaving the village turn right SP Newcastle/Kilkeel B27. The junctions will be arrowed from Rathfriland.
